best war movies on netflix
1. LONE SURVIVOR

Some films don’t only tell us a story; perhaps it creates a feeling inside us for the characters that we see on TV or on the big giant screen. Lone Survivor exhibits its storyline well and makes you stick on the screen as the action sequel and few scenes of the film are so emotional that it attracts the eyes.

A soldier will always live for his country and can die to ensure the safety of his land; Lone Survivor perfectly showcases all of the brave soldiers with great dignity and honour. Missing on this will be a bad choice.

2. UNBROKEN

You can break a soul but you can never break the will power of an individual. Unbroken is a story of an athlete who unfortunately becomes a victim of a prisoner of a war.

The way how the film moves on creates shivering experience about knowing the horrifying situation the athlete had to face while being capitalized as a prisoner. A film worth your watch to make you drop some tears and make you feel the kind of horrendous and the mistreatment acts an innocent soul had to face for its survival.

3. SAN CASTLE

A story explaining about the aftermath in Iraq during the time of the World Trade Center that took place in the USA. A soldier nominates his name to go to Iraq, to help a village in re-establishing its livelihood; however, things do not fall to be simple in a war zone environment.

The film starts very slow and might lose your interest, however, go by the content of the film, which portrays an excellent story about emotions, feelings and the strong bonding which happens in a human connection.

4. FURY

Fury resonates the life of a soldier exemplary well, ensuring to accomplish the war to be glorifying and never letting the pride of a soldier demolish quickly. A soldier never gives up till the last breath, which the film delves with it with honour and self respectfully.

In a war zone situation, a regime of 300 soldiers trying to defeat the soldiers of five individuals is the bottom line of the film. The way how the war zone situation is being picturized and framed is dynamic to the subject of the film. I certainly tag the film to be the best war movies on Netflix one can watch.

5. 12 STRONG

Twelve soldiers on a mission to destroy the Taliban and its alliance in Afghanistan is what the film mostly relates too for the viewers to watch. The film casting, direction, story and presentations are all upto the mark. Which makes it a pleasant watch- the special effects make you realize about a war-related game rather than a film. But bypassing all of it, the film gives you a decent experience about a war field site and lives upto the expectation.

6. THE SIEGE OF JADOTVILLE

A soldiers camp can face a sudden attack at any time, but the attracting part of this film is- what will the soldiers do when they are being attacked from a significant force, and their soldier’s count is too less to handle. I regret to say that films like The State of Jadotville receive negative reviews from big media critics house, which is unfortunate. The film doesn’t leave viewers in disappointment since the way how it is being portrayed is enthralling and explicit.

The audience can give the best judgement about a movie, so it’ sits all upon you to decide whether to consider watching or consider going by the words of mouth from the critics. I undoubtedly feel this as the Best War Movies on Netflix that you can catch up with in your spare time.

7. INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS

No words can expel the excellency of this beautiful, crafted, staggering retribution war-related film. The Nazi’s government is cruelest, and this film fulfills the exact justification of its title, Inglorious Basterds, to give severe pain to the Nazis. A movie about retribution, revenge, and, most notably, trying to bring an end to the ongoing war. Excellent casting and the acting is all up to the mark, no spoilers, perhaps an overwhelming performance film to watch.

8. ACT OF VALOR

While we are asleep, a soldier always keeps himself awake to ensure our safety, but we rarely understand our soldiers’ sacrifices to protect us. Act Of Valor, a mission-based flick that turns out to be a nightmare for the men in uniform, assigned a task to bring back a CIA agent safe and sound. Nicely shown, action scenes in the film with some sound effects make the film a considerable watch.

9. SAVING PRIVATE RYAN

There are incidents in the history of humanity which are horrible; however, some events make us realize that humanity still exists. Saving Private Ryan is a masterpiece from the legendary itself Steven Speilberg, who spins the wheel his side ensuring to give a wonderful view to its viewers. This is a must-watch war film, which brings in the hope of those who lost their lives in war, but only some make it to be still alive—a film of courage, excellence and honour to go hand in hand.
